No one's expecting us to do much at the start of the season. The club however see's it as a good opportunity to 'test the waters' and measure up against the best. I think we are still a ways off these sides but an upset win would be fantastic. I still remember feeling elated after touching up the Dons early last season when they were on that roll - hope that happens again starting with round one  :pray

First month isn't to important but beating the Demons is.  0-5 isn't the best momentum to go into the next 3 rounds(Port Adelaide, Sydney swans at MCG and Essendon) with where I think we are a very good chance of winning.

Hopefully one of West Coast, Geelong, Collingwood or Carlton is going to have a bad year this year and we may be the one to beat them early.  Really need to beat Melbourne though.

I would think Collingwood is the least likely to drop but you never know.
Geelong could suffer an age based premiership hangover.
West Coast who knows?  They yoyo with sparkle.  Do they need another draft pick?
Carlton of last year just weren't that good but their not bad either.  They are the most likely to drop I'd guess.

Even if we only ended up 1 and 4 we could still end up 5 and 5 by round 10.

Why do teams have to "drop" or have "hangovers" etc..... for us to win, why don't we just beat them because we play better... :huh :huh

First month could be anything for us....should be a huge improvement...win!!!
