Richmond and the Alannah and Madeline Foundation have joined forces to combat schoolyard bullying, planning a World Record attempt at the ME Bank Centre.

‘Push up for your mates’ will attempt to assemble as many Tiger fans as possible on Punt Road Oval, to break the world record for the most number of people performing push-ups at the one time.

The event will take place on Friday, February 24, after an open Richmond training session that starts at 3pm. Participants must arrive prior to 4pm to register for the world record.

I presume that a lack of fanfare would indicate that the record was not broken?
It's that simple Spud
"I discussed (it) with my three daughters, my wife and my 82-year-old mum, because it has really affected me … If those comments … were made about one of my daughters, it would make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I would not have liked it at all.”

About a week before the attempt, Kingy said on MMM that there was currently no record standing but required a minimum of 250 people to qualify. Sounds like there was 400'ish so now the official count and waiting is a mere formality.
