Waite gets off again!
« on: April 02, 2012, 05:58:39 PM »
 ::)

The match day report against Carlton's Jarrad Waite for making forceful contact from front-on against Richmond's Dylan Grimes was assessed. The ball was kicked into the Carlton forward line and Grimes dived forward to contest the ball. As he picked up the ball and regained his feet, he was met by Waite, who was coming from the other direction. Waite has his arms down preparing to tackle when contact is made. After viewing all available footage and speaking to the umpire who laid the report, it was the view of the panel that Waite had no real alternative way to contest the ball. No further action was taken.

A kick to the groin ...... nothing
A front on bump on an opponent with his head over the ball ...... nothing
Swinging elbows in a marking contest against Rance  ...... not even mentioned.

Is Waite a protected species?!  :banghead

I will jump for joy the day somebody, anybody cleans him up with the force of a freight train and busts him into a thousand little pieces.

Gee don't you wish we had those players from the early 70's back to smash these farks back to Earth.

x 2, even though I would be happy with RR's thoughts above!  And how good was Scarlett's hit on that weazel Ballantyne?  Hand's up who didn't cheer for that!!  I rate those 2 on the same scale.

Looks like Scarlett tried not to hurt that ferret with the hit. Copped 3 weeks for a love tap. Should have known that whether it was a slap or a ripper that he was going to cop time for it, and just belted the turd for the six.

Can't believe the same knob head only got 2 for dropping Chappy. There was considerably more intent and malice in his than Conca's.

Agree entirely Dwaino.  Normal anti-RFC bias in that decison.
