Gee what an even spread, first time I have seen it, have a look at the stats, how much we shared the ball. The only player not to reach double figures was Mini Maric, that's because he was the sub.

Great to see the ball being shared like that, without overuse and us using it as well as we did on just about every occasion.

BTW, how good is the Cotch....:)

Stats mean nothing

How many of them stats belong to the umpires.
How many of them stats are from overuse of the ball which create turnovers.

some stages of the game last night were not exceptable & Hardwick stated that clearly.

st kilkda were also a form team and they were not going to allow us to play on our terms but we still found a way

if we kicked straight earlyfor goal and the umps didnt look after the aints we would have won by 40plus points
the score flattered the saints and at the mcg it would have been a 10goal plus win

Thats right, they were a form team & that makes our win even more important. Them talking us up during the week was laughable. They were truely poo-ing themselves that they aint as good as they think & will be waiting another 115 years for a flag lol  ;D

Stats to some degree DO mean something, in my particular context I am referring to the even spread...not individual meaningless stats. Go have a look.

You've always got a chance when you have 22 contributors each week. It's also a positive that our defenders are just not stoppers and spoilers but can win and use the footy to set up rebounding attacks which is what you need from your backmen in modern footy.
