Summary

Craig Cameron was on KB's show this morning....

* KB asked where Richmond is at with Travis Cloke - will you contact with David and Travis Cloke like Geelong did with Boak? Cameron said we're tracking it with his manager Ralph Carr. Cameron thinks the Pies and Travis will work things out but with things on hold it's worth have a chat with Ralph Carr his management. Happy to leave it at that before talking to the player as Cloke has this season and finals campaign to play out

* We have room in our cap but if the higher end figures alluded to are true then it would be a challenge we have to consider our salary cap. Not in terms of $$$ but from a list management point of view. We have a model we are sticking too to keep a number of our younger players for years to come. We would need to know what Travis wanted before going any further.

* We can be more proactive talking to his manager but we haven't pursued that thus far. Not sure if the Clokes are open to that either as the news only broke yesterday arvo. Ralph Carr might be away (Cameron smirked).

* KB said we'd be top 4 next year if we got Cloke as we lost 5 games by less than 12 points. There's reasons why we've lost those close games - issues with our defence and loss of players plus use by foot which down on the weekend. Not all just about lack of forward efficiency. No doubt adding quality players will improve our list.

* No doubt there's a strong historical connection with David playing at Richmond twice.

* KB reckons if Cloke left Collingwood then his preference would be to go to Richmond. Cameron said we've asked some questions in terms of if we went down that path. Doesn't believe there'd be an issue with him playing with us.

* KB mentioned the FTF and here's a opportunity to put down our cards and be a player. Cameron replied the FTF not only about free agency. Also the punt road redevelopment (oval), stand alone VFL reserves side. But yes part of that FTF money is to be a player in free agency.

* Loss - Dimma mentioned a few acts of ill-discipline. We've been in the top 5 of kicking efficiency but on weekend we were at 58% which isn't good enough to win footy games. Endeavour was good and we kept fighting once we were 15 pts down. Little things in footy cost you.

* Carlton always a tough opponent as we've found out over the past few years. Not good at judging crowds but Cameron hopes for 70k to a battle between traditional rivals.

* Until the numbers say we can't make the finals we'll keep on fighting to play in them.

* KB asked for a final word about Travis Cloke. Cameron replied "we'll be tracking that situation".
