i believe the MFC isnt safe
from all this talk.
They deserve to get the book thrown at them, the plan all season has been to write off 2012 and reload with 4 first round draft picks in the super draft of 2012.
The consensus is that Viney is a top 5 pick, not top 3 but realistic top 5. If Melbourne finished on top of bulldogs and Port, they ran a real risk of one of those clubs bidding for Viney and under the f/s rule they would have to use their first pick (pick5). But by finishing 16th or 17th they will then have the following:
pick 2 or 3, then 2 x 1st round draft picks(Scully compo) and then pick up Viney with their 2nd rounder effectively getting a top 5 pick with pick 22 or whatever it will be. This side is up there with carlton as the biggest rorters of the competition, i hope for integrity's sake they cop their right whack and the afl finally pull their heads from out of their asses and do something about this.
