Great and very humble man...From what i read he didnt like the publicity associated with this great event and instead went back home to teach..RIP

I remember sitting in a classroom back in 1969 at Brighton st primary school,which is now called Richmond primary school i think ,and watching this event on an old black and white TV,Cant remember if i was watching a replay or the actual event live,not that it mattered to us back in those days ......we were on the brink of another premiership..lol

RIP Neil Armstrong.

With men like Neil Armstrong and Carl Sagan departing one by one, the current generation is running out of heroes and inspirational figures to think laterally and look to the stars. It's really a shame.
