Cleve and Petts also have tatts.
In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.

The Tigers recruit a new tough 'full back' (Herald-Sun)

I couldn't find this on the web so I typed it out...

The Tigers recruit a new tough 'full back'
By Craig Hutchison
SUN 18 JAN 2009, Page S06

IT'S fair to say our inbox was smashed like a David Warner six with emails from diehard AFL fans following our feature on Queensland-based Hawthorn member Stuart Berry and his tattoo of a Hawk.

Hundreds contacted us with pictures of tattoos large and small.

Some, like Geelong supporter Troy Longs, were inked to honour premiership glory.

Perhaps no surprise was the number of emails from Collingwood supporters, proudly displaying their artworks.

But in our minds the winner -- and perhaps the most painful -- was the full back monolith of Richmond supporter Matthew Hawkins.

The unfinished tattoo has taken a whopping 11 hours to get to where it is.

"We're a bit over half way,'' the Tiger fanatic said.

Hawkins said he rarely went to the footy because of work commitments, instead finding the nearest television he could find.

He was rapt when the Tigers recruited Ben Cousins and even has a link to the Brownlow medallist.

"I've got Ned Kelly tatts on me but not the `Such Is Life' like Ben,'' he said.

So impressed by Hawkins's effort are the Tigers they're bringing him to training to meet the team.
