Geelong v Richmond
« on: May 22, 2005, 07:57:52 AM »
Round 22 scheduled to be played at Kardinia Park.

If things remain as they are there are going to be a lot of dissappointed people come rd22.
Should Richmond be pushing the AFL to move this game now.

Having a look there is a sat and sun game at the G so the only alternative would be to put it up against the other friday nighter and have it at the G. It's a Geelong home game so let them have the gate (surely they couldn't pass that up)

I now a couple of roo's supporters that left early today - they were saying unless you book 3 weeks in advance there is a limit of 1500 standing room which go on sale when the gates open at Pussy Park and that's it.

As for me I'll be keeping a close eye on this and will be booking tickets as soon as available.

NB: Have also sent this to the tigers asking when these tickets go on sale and if they will request a swap. :thumbsup

Yeah I heard about this drama too CUB.
What is point of having a ground with such a limited capacity in the AFL anyway?
I doubt that Geelong would give up a home game thats for sure .
Still there is 13 rounds to go and anything can happen particularly to our form! ;)
