Catlton not that much chop.

As much as i loathe them, they have some talent and are a good side.

As much as I loathe them, I'll admit they are filthy, disgusting, degenerate and despicable.
Did I say they cheat, lie, steal, tank and are just deplorable.
Makes last night all the more sweeter. ;D

I liked that we won by 5 points and their stupid supporters had to stay till the end
Was the best part. In your face cheats.

All we need is to recruit and develop some real talented indigenous players to really add to the excitement.
Watching the likes of Gartlett, Yarran and Betts run around last night makes me jealous of other teams indigenous talent.

Now we've had our greats and those that were good contributers.
Maurice Rioli. (1982-1987) 118 games
Michael Mitchell (1987-1991) 81 games
Phil Egan.  (1982-89) 125 games
Andrew Krakouer (2001-2007) 102 games.
Richard Tambling (2005-2010) 108 games

Then the others;
Marty McGrath (2003) 4 games. My Sharona!
Lionel Proctor. Richmond (1998–2001) 20 games
Ashley Blurton. (1988-89) 14 games.
Justin Murphy (1994-95) 12 games.
Wally Lovett. (1983-84) 13 games
Jarrod Oakley-Nichols. (2006-2009) 13 games.  :o
Derek Peardon  (1968-1971) 20 games
Troy Taylor (2005) 4 games. 0 houses
Relton Roberts (2010) 2 games. 25 hamburgers

It's time we had more aboriginal stars in our team.

Take it easy Tigra as good as indigenous talent is or Greek or Italian talent or anyone else for that matter lets pick the best talent available regardless of ethnicity and take it from there.
We have Shane Edwards who I'm starting to warm to.
We have Maric, Vlaustin, Conca, Deledio, Martin! Houli,Nahas from non-Anglo backgrounds.
We are the United Nations. :thumbsup

Your probably right Tucker's.
I'm all for more quality wogs too. We've got some seriously talented wogs in out team.
Being of Italian heritage myself I take great interest in the performances of our Italian stars. Conca, Deledio, our fine ruckman Marici and ofcoarse our outstanding captain Cotchini.  ;D

But I would love to see a Matera/Long type carving it up on a wing. Or a stuff of nature goal sneak like a Rioli. But my dream would be a Goodes type, consistency and leadership are the two words that come to mind I just love that guy; A superstar is Goodes.

I don't care we get a black player.or otherwise.

However someone with genuine pace wouldn't hurt. Ie. Jetta.(swans

It was strange listening to the swans giants game yesterday, and the commentary team throughout the whole game were saying jetta only needs a moment or 2 of magic to swing this game.deep into the last they were still saying the same thing.
Me i dont want a player who can provide one nano second of magic for the whole game and then very little esle,i want someone dare i say like kingy who provides a red hot go at the contest every single time and does all the team things

I wouldn't even have king in our best 22. Long term.

Not ahead of vlastuin / helbig etc.

Would swap l.Jetta for king in a heart beat.

Of course he wont be long term he's nearly 30, but at present he stays.  He's doing a good job and our forwards walk a bit taller when he's around.

Might be worth having a look at Blease at the end of the year.  Will surely want out of Melbourne.

Might be a few youngsters from Melbourne, Bulldogs who may want out at the end of the year.
Perfect age group to lure them to the club for some on-field success.

No thanks on Blease, but maybe Jeremy Howe on a wing/ high forward would be nice

Blease can play. I think he is much better than Howe except the latter takes those hangers and obviously takes your eye.
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

Nah Howe is one of their better players. He is on a good deal at Melbourne though and is more than happy there. Definitely won't be at Richmond anytime soon
