-Edwards was asked what the DT game really means, he said that it pays tribute to indigenous players of the past, present and future and what they mean to the game
-He talked about how in late Jan or early Feb that with the assistance of the club he went up to the local indigenous community where his family came from. He said he basically announced to the community that he was from there and hoping to look into the family history. He said the next day he found himself sitting in a room with 50-60 distant relatives and the moment affected him and still does to this day
-He hopes his gran can get up there one day as she has never had the opportunity before
-He is on the phone to his family up there every couple of weeks
-Blobbo joked that he might have to find a few more seats at the DT game now with his 50 new family members, Edwards laughed along and agreed he has had to find a few more tickets.
-His favourite indigenous player (current) would have to be Shaun Burgoyne
-He loves the design of the Richmond jumpers and mentioned that the last 3 years have been designed by an indigenous artist
-Was asked about his elevation into the midfield, Edwards said he is just grateful for the opportunity and likes getting more involved in the play. Is learning off the gun mids in Cotch, Lids and Dusty and said they are all firing.
