It was only 2 years ago or something apparently we were paying one of the least TPPs in the comp and then the club said we were preparing for free agency - as in making sure we could secure our own players as well as the ability to shop some other players. What has happened that all of the sudden we can't afford our players? Are they really asking too much?

Who knows tbh, you would think they were regular finalists and premiership players.

Is Jack worth the $750k he wants? I don't think so. I hardly think he deserves much of a raise on his $550k anyway.
Is Dusty worth $650k? Maybe conditionally but not ATM. 500-550 sounds more reasonable.


You don't want to let these guys go, but you can't set a precedent that allows them to ask for however much money they want. There's a whole team to think about. If they won't sign for less, we'll be forced to trade.


I'd offer them both to GWS. Jack for Pick 1 (Boyd) and Martin for J Cameron. Maybe a pick too.
