Captain

Trent is a gun but he's got to improve his output.

50% conversion efficiency is not acceptable for an A grade player.

His dinky kicks are deplorable.

He's our captain and he needs to lead the team. Showing the rest what's required.
Lifting the boys when nothing is going your way.
I'd like him also to take it upon himself to turn a game ie. Abblett, Selwood, Hodge etc.

It's time for him to reach another level beyond what he expects to acheive and perform to a consistant standard week in week out.

He got a lot of possessions but he needs to be effective enough to lead us out of mediocrity & into a win.

I think he's good enough to do this but I only hope he will.
The club that keeps giving.

Needs to increase his number of 45 to 50m kicks to advantage to move up another level.

Round 1, I'm happy to give kicking efficiency some slack.

Dinky kicks must stop. Fantastic player all the same, champion!

but nothing else?
dont worry , you're not the only that picks and chooses and applies different standards to suit you own perceptions

I thought he tried hard. Disposal wasn't great but I'd be pointing the finger at other blokes who also had crap disposal but didn't try half as hard as Cotch did.

Hi Al,

Its OK to smile mate. To elaborate, Cotchin's efficiency is the least of our worries. Being round 1 there are plenty of other things I'll whinge about before looking at our best players kicking efficiency.

Life isn't that bad mate - relax.

Kindest Regards,
Pope

Thats precious coming from someone who generally only comes on here to whine, moan and bitch like a princess.

funny how none of those things you whinge about get cut any slack because its rnd 1, yet one player's turnovers from dinky half arsed kicks do.

see how its not only the coach that plays the favorites game?

Cotch,  Lids, Angus, Mcdonough, Thomas, Astbury second half, Griffiths, should all get cut some slack because they battled hard.

Rest were for the tip.
