What side would you pick?

Would your side differ somewhat from hardwick preferred 22?

Hard calls need to be made. GC and GWS are miles ahead of us, our list will not win a flag. We stuffed it with moneyball rubbish and should have chased 1-2 big fish just like Essendon did. Their success should have been ours. Similar lists, add Goddard and Chapman to either side with a full squad is the difference of pushing for top 4 and missing finals. Really annoys me. However I strongly believe we should have got Dal Santo. One of the best kicks in the game, the difference he would make would be enormous especially without Deledio.

I'd trade some blue chip players and try and spread the wealth a little and lower our avg age, we need to compete with GC and GWS we aren't going to win a flag before them so we need to raid them of their kids. Give them Deledio for their first round pick and a good young player like Devon Smith. Pick 1 - 3 plus Dylan Shiel, Tom Bugg or Devon Smith. They won't be able to afford them all.

Trade Vickery to Melbourne who need a forward now Clarke is gone, wouldn't get much but maybe upgrade our first draft pick to their priority pick which they will get this year. We'll get anywhere between Pick 4-8 and would upgrade it to something like Pick 2-4. I'd happily take that for Vickery.

I'd play Griffiths as our future ruckman, the way the game is going with minimal contact in ruck duals his leap will beat the stronger ruckman.

So we finish bottom 4 and will have GWS first round pick, and upgrade our first pick to Melb priority pick with picks something like 3 and 4. Plus an extra 2nd rounder for Jack. There should be 2 stars coming in and 2 genuine players.

Trade I.Maric. Love the man but we need to make some tough calls. Someone like Geelong need a ruckman, wouldn't mind a young kid like Allen Christensen. Might need a 2nd rounder to sweeten the deal, Trade S.Edwards to a club that is silly enough to give us a 2nd rounder.

Get rid of the following by any means:
Newman
Foley
Petterd
Stephenson
King
Chaplin
A.Edwards
Grigg
Knights
Stephenson
Thomas
Banfield

Best 22:
B: Morris Astbury Grimes
HB: Dea Rance Houli
C: Conca Cotchin Ellis
HF: D.Smith, J.Riewoldt B.Lennon
F: Lloyd McBean A.Christensen

R: Griffiths Martin Jackson

Int: Arnot, McDonough, Pick 4, Pick 3

For an accountant, he sure made some terrible calculations.
Caracella and Balmey.
