I cant believe how close we were to picking up Dean Solomon. That would have been an absolute tragedy. Thank god we averted it.

He would have to be the most undisciplined player in the league by a long, long way.

We had Solomon virtually signed up in London but Solomon was the one who bailed out in the morning after saying yes to us the night before. We should thank Adam Ramanakus for saving us from that close shave.

A good ol' whinge fest over the umpiring costing them the game at Bomberland  :rollin

including this ripper conspiracy theory from one of them:

Quote
We are playing the game hoping against hope that it will all even out. But after at least 55 years of maggot bias (newbies: read what one of the greatest players EVER, John Coleman, thought of them, and how he and EFC suffered because of them) its unlikely that will happen any time soon.

and another poor soul who recorded every free that was paid against them today and is disputing each one  :rollin

solomon would have been a gr8 player 4 us, and still may be who knows!!!! he is not playing well because lets face it he hates being there and wants to be at richmond. his mistake was being sucked in by sheedy in the last minute !!! his best mates with members of our team and if played 4 us he would be more disciplined becaus ehe would give a poo. i wish we had players like him at our club (that is when he is playing his hard disciplined game)

If he really wanted to be a Richmond - he'd be here. He changed his mind. Now what ever the reasons were he changed his mind so that means he he doesn't want to here. If he really wanted to be Tiger he wouldn't have been so easily influenced by others.

Look at Nathan Brown - he had mates (and still does) at the Bulldogs and they couldn't change his mind - he stood by his decision because he wanted to leave the Dogs and became a Tiger. If you really want to leave yopu'll leave IMHO Solomon didn't want too

And I for one am glad he stayed at the Bombers they deserve one another :lol

I thought I saw dumb footy last week but this week the Bombers played dumber footy.

Why?

Because I don't care who you are you aint going to win many games of footy if your main object is to play the man and not the ball. Bottom line is you cannot score if you aint got the ball.

The Bombers main objective for the all of the first half bar the last 8 minutes of the 2nd quarter was to play the man and not the ball and they got exactly what deserved.

Very sweet indeed from where I was sitting
