Who was your AFL team when you were growing up. I supported the Saints. My old man went for the Saints, so I followed suit. Lenny Hayes was my favourite player growing up, what a fantastic career
he's had!
12:04 Comment From Doug
Hey Anthony, who was your best mate at GWS? The two guys I lived with, Sam Schulz and Mark Whiley and the ruckman Jonathan Giles. I played under 18's with Sam and Mark, and GWS gave us the
chance to live with each other.
12:06 Comment From Rach
What's the biggest difference you've noticed between playing for GWS and the Tigers I think just the senior experience that Richmond have, GWS have got a few senior guys in this year to add to the young talent that they have. Nathan
Foley is an example of a player here who has been good for me.
12:07 Comment From Jezz
Hey Milesy, is there any coincidence that Cotch is averaging more touches per game since you've arrived? Go tiges! Haha, I don't think so. Cotch has had a really consistent year and his form the last month has been exceptional.

Heading into the rookie draft, how many clubs had spoken to you? What were your initial thoughts about Richmond prior to being drafted and has it changed
now? There was 2 or 3 clubs that were interested. No club gave me a definitive answer on their interest in me. Blair Hartley called me the night before
the draft and said "don't be surprised if we take you".
In terms of my thoughts about Richmond, I held Richmond in a high regard prior to coming to the club and those thoughts have just been solidified since I got
here.
12:09 Comment From Steph
Hey Anthony was playing footy at AFL level always a dream of yours .? Always a dream since I was 4 or 5, since I can remember.
12:10 Comment From Brett
How much weight have you put on at Tigerland? Looking stronger than Newy! I've actually lost weight, not much but I'm feeling stronger than I've ever been.
12:10 Comment From Ryan
Started discussions on a new contract yet? Not as yet. I'm certainly hoping to be a Tiger next year.
12:11 Comment From Guest
Best bloke to have a chat to at the club? Sam Lloyd, Ricky Petterd and Nathan Gordon from the younger guys, and I enjoy having a chat with Lids, Jack and Newy.
12:12 Comment From Zac
Who gives the best spray at the club? And whats the best spray you have heard? Thanks I've heard rumors Dimma can give a good spray, but luckily I haven't been on the end of one yet. I've heard Choco go off at GWS, that was pretty
impressive.
12:13 Comment From Christian
Hey Anthony! Whats been the biggest turn-around this year compared to last year personally? I think for me its consistency. And having the opportunity to play multiple AFL games.
12:13 Comment From Ryan
Is your Dad a big Tiges supporter now? He's converted, I think Cotch is his favourite.
12:14 Comment From Unit-Perth
Hi Anthony, where did you develop your football as a junior? I heard a story in the media you kicked 13 goals in a game. Well done on this year I played in a country league where goals were pretty easy to come by, so yep that is true. The league was the Hume League, and in the Albury Junior
Football League in Albury/Wadonga.
12:15 Comment From Jacob
Hey snippa, who are your best mates/who do you spend most of your time with from the club? We had a couple of days off earlier this week and I went away with Sam Lloyd, Nathan Gordon and Aaron Edwards to Barwon Heads.
12:15 Comment From Rachel
Who's been the most helpful in helping you settle into the Tiges? I think the whole playing group as a collective, and all the coaching staff have been fantastic in my development which has helped me settle in. I
live with my cousin, who has already here in Victoria which has helped a lot.
12:16 Comment From Angela
Who is your biggest influence at the club? Probably Choco, Mark Williams. He's just really honest and gives good feedback.
12:17 Comment From Grant
Hey Anthony, thanks for your efforts with the Tiges this year! Besides getting a game and a few kicks, what have you most enjoyed about being at the
Richmond Footy Club? The professionalism that all staff and players have here is great, and the one goal that we all strive for is improving and the comradeship we all
share. I enjoy being in the Melbourne bubble of footy.
12:18 Comment From Guest
Who is the funniest bloke at the club? Everyone throws up Alex Rance, can anyone push him off that mantle? It's Rancey, no one comes close.
12:19 Comment From Zac
Hey Milesy, who is the best player you have played against? And who do you think is the best player in the AFL? Thanks Gary Ablett on both accounts.
12:19 Comment From Grant
Why do you think you've blossomed at Richmond and yet were overlooked at GWS? Is it because of their midfield depth, or do you feel you've improved as a
player since coming to Punt Road? With the first round draft talent they have at GWS it was tough to play consistent AFL games. And it's a tough side to break in to.
12:20 Comment From Gary for
I heard there was a Ruckman by the name of Dom Star Hossack Credits himself for all of my junior success.
12:21 Comment From Raph
Is Ivan unhappy that you are fast becomming the most popular bloke at Punt Road? Certainly not the most popular.
12:21 Comment From Honey badge
Tell us about your pre season with Pat Scammell Pat is a 2-time Olympian who is also a relative. I worked closely with him on my aerobic fitness along with my brother who was a training partner.
After I left GWS and before Richmond picked me up, Pat, David and I were doing two sessions a day trying to stay fit, it was pretty tough.
12:22 Comment From Guest
What do you plan on doing with your life after footy? I'm currently studying teaching, so probably that.
12:23 Comment From Michael
What other hobbies do you like to do, outside of footy? I like golf and fishing
12:23 Comment From Raph
Having played big parts in both the VFL and AFL and this being our first year with our own VFL club how close are the two teams? Do the VFL boys feel
apart of the club? I loved playing for the VFL team. I get along well with all the VFL boys, and Tim Clarke and Andrew McQualter were fantastic for my development and
still are.
12:24 Comment From Stu
You don't look very quick. What time did you run the 20 metre sprint at draft camp? I didnt actually go to draft camp, I was pre-listed at GWS. But I do it in about 3.07.
12:25 Comment From Brett
What are your goals for the rest of the year? I hope to be able to play the remaining 6 matches in the senior side and have success as a side too.
12:25 Comment From Tom
Which player do you model your game around most Anthony? Probably Lenny Hayes
12:25 Comment From Damon
Im in the middle of a legal studies sac, help me out snippa. Why do they call you snipp or snippa? It's actually a quite boring story, I'm the youngest of 3 boys and I loved my brothers growing up and followed them everywhere. So my old man thought
I was always snipping at their heels, so he called me snipper.
12:26 Comment From Raph
Who is the most competitive at training and other aspects around the club? I think everyone is pretty competitive. Lids is always pretty competitive at anything he does.
12:27 Comment From Emma
Who is the coaches pet? Certainly Ricky Petterd.
12:28 Comment From Rach
What would you be doing if you weren't playing AFL? Hear you're a champ at Mario Kart. Mario Kart 64, top 3 in the world.
12:28 Comment From Alan
Hi Anthony, you look a bit like Joffret from Game of Thrones? What nicknames have you been given at the club? Yeah I've been getting Milo or Otis and spoony.
12:29 Comment From Aker
Any chance of returning to the Mighty Hoppers once your hopefully successful AFL career ends? They're certainly on the right track at the moment. Never rule anything out I suppose.
