Summary:
* It seems plenty of general footy fans are behind us. There's plenty of good will.
* You don't give up on the season until it's not mathematically possible but it didn't look likely as we weren't playing well. You start looking at longer cycles but we needed to win and get back to the process and reinstall confidence from within and without the Club.
* It was a real difficult situation for the club but we were diligent and we wanted to know how and why it happened. We can't afford to be 3-10 again. It's not acceptable.
* Sustaining performance is down to getting the little things continually right. The playing group took control. Cotch and the leadership group have set the standards needed and Dimma created the environment for that to happen.
* We have to admit Ivan's comments were probably right at the time.
* People forgot the importance of Rance, Lids, Maric, Jackson and now even Miles to our side who all missed large chucks of the earlier part of the season.
* Dusty contract talks last year - extremely well handed by Dan Richardson. We believed Dusty's management was asking for too much and we iterated that to them. Since then Dusty has really matured on and off field this year.
* Didn't feel there was a clash between our and Port's guernseys. We played in mud in 2010 over at AAMI and you could still tell the difference.
* Ty Vickery is very important to us. Probably more respected internally than externally. But he was out for 4 weeks and Griffiths has taken his opportunity.
* By 2pm, 6000 Richmond tickets were sold. There's no RFC allocation. The issue is now getting all of them to Adelaide. We've got a convoy of buses, people are car pooling and the flights are packed.
