Votes Round 18, 2005 - RFC vs Carlton
« on: July 31, 2005, 06:44:27 PM »
Closes eyes and throws darts at names :-\

3. Hartigan - about the only one when the game was still a contest that could hit a target
2. Tuck - always gives his all.
1/2 each Moore and Tambling - more an encouragement vote. Moore for presenting up forward and Tambling for endeavour and 2 goals. Made mistakes but I couldn't find anyone else who deserved a vote as his teammates made just as many.

3 - Campbell - He made some mistakes and gave away some stupid free kicks but he was good in the clinches and did well for the amount of time he played.

2 - Hartigan - Didn't get much of it but probably used it the best out of all the players out there today.

1 - Tambling - Done alright

Pettifer, Deledio and Tuck were also ok

What a shocker........... Tezza mentioned in his press conference it was the kids that did their jobs - aint that the truth

3 - Hartigan - ran the lines and attacked the ball. Also thought his disposal was the best it's been for the season

2 - Pettifer - presented time and time again

1 - Deledio - class and skill but and I know I sound like a broken record he needs to tighten up defensively.

Just out of interest I didn't give Tuck any votes because he was way to loose on Kouta and Kouta killed us. I thought Cogs played better this week but he spent alot of time on Stevens and Stevens kicked 4 goals >:( :o

Also I think today Will Thursfield would have learnt a helluva lot ;)

And THE GOLDEN TURNUP (aka the Johnny Manton Medal): after a few weeks break I am giving ther GT this week to ..........

....................

Rory Hilton - fair dinkum :banghead :banghead he takes a screamer - big deal. He ran around at times today like he was jogging alond the St Kilda foreshore.  :banghead

mmmmmmm i think cogs had only 6 touches after quarter time, and many of his kicks were floating hospital passes, this kid has planty of courage but his skill is shocking. give him one more yr and if his skill dosnt improve use his rep as gr8 trade bait, i am sick and tired of tiger players getting rave reviews when they have subsubsubstandard skill level, getting the ball is one thing, using it properly is another. stephens spanked him today
