Sam McClure was just on 3aw again. He added Collingwood will approach Vickery at the end of the season and Richmond may need to extend Ty's contract early and pay him more to keep him.

At the end of the day Ty is still contracted for next season. We could potentially push a flag next year and if that means not knee jerking and risk losing someone like Vickery for the following year because we instead decided to trade or sign in some big talent then so be it. Happens all the time and we would have a season to prepare for it.

3aw again today were mentioning the 'Collingwood are into Vickery' rumour. Richo said there was talk of this rumour prior to yesterday's game and that if you hear another club is interested in you, you'd possibly be motivated to play well against them.
