West Coast defender Kasey Green is expected to find a new home in Melbourne, possibly with Richmond who acknowledged their interest in the 26 year-old yesterday.

Green most likely would have been delisted by the Eagles if he hadn't had a fairly good GF and he only got a call up  because Matera was injured. IIRC it was only his second game for the year.

Pass on fringe players from other clubs RFC.

im a bit unsure myself about green, i read about this trade 2 days ago and did my research on him.
he was a handy player b4 he got 4 weeks for kicking a demon player and since then has struggled to make the side but from what i recall he showed good qualities in the gf, and he must have some talent to be number 23 of the side

I dont know why we would bother, if the club perhaps can see him playing to bolster our backline then perhaps they should tell him to nominate for the PSD and see what happens.
There's no I in team, but there is 5 i's in Individual Brilliance.

Agree PRR. He's a PSD possibility.

Grand finalist Green clears out locker
By Stephen Rielly

KASEY Green was one of West Coast's better players in the grand final loss to Sydney four weeks ago, but it has turned out to be his last as an Eagle. Green was one of three players delisted by West Coast yesterday, the others being Jeremy Humm and Zac Beeck.

Green had indicated shortly after the grand final that, after six seasons and 54 matches, a move was in his best interests, but a deal was unable to be organised in trade week, although Richmond expressed interest that might be rekindled in the national or pre-season drafts.
