What comes around, goes around  :thumbsup.

------------------------------------------------------------

... in a year when the Blues will miss out on a round-one windfall, as Richmond will enjoy the gate takings.

The Tigers will reap the entire gate attendance for the first time since the two clubs were given the first match of the season in 2007.

The gate for round one was split until last year, when Trigg ordered only the home team enjoy the spoils – in that case it was the Blues.

The two clubs will meet only once this year.

The Tigers have posted 11 straight profits, and have cash reserves in excess of $2 million. This is set to be strengthened by pocketing the round-one receipts.

A strong start is also likely to help boost last year's record Richmond membership of 71,339, and a home and away attendance of 1.05 million – the highest in the AFL.
