the reason Jeff Garlett got dropped

Did anyone here hear why Garlett was dropped several weeks ago?

Apparently didnt go hard enough at a contest so Roos made an example of him. I cant believe Im going to say this, but are even bloody melbourne trying to build a better playing culture than us? Why dont we drop players and make examples of them for not going hard enough? why do Houli, Ellis x 2, Vickery all continually get games after short stepping or simply not chasing hard enough?
