To continue the musical theme we've had this week with "Tonight's the Night" and "Tell Me Why" lol
How do you think Terry will respond if the going gets tough this year. He walked from the Dogs for whatever reasons. Do you reckon his ego (and he has a healthy one - which is not a criticism because if he didn't i wouldn't have confidence in him) would take a beating, or is he the type of person who can get through the tough times, unlike all the other coaches of the last 25 years.
He is a smart man (I'm sure he has plenty of Grecian handy and will have that sun lounge running 24 hours a day to give him a healthy glow lol), but we are the toughest gig in the AFL and i wonder how internally he will cope. He says he wanted the challenge to see us become the power we once were, and although many of us said we are prepared to wait for the kids to grow, in reality, we're not going to put up with performances like last Friday too readily me thinks. We deserve better and David King can say that he hopes the supporters don't turn on the club, and so do i. But if the supporters were booing the players on Friday, and we get a repeat performance this week, heaven help us.
I'm sure he thinks he's tough, but he's never been through a bad year like he could get this year if we get more of the same.
Hang tough Tezza. I'm not going to be getting the knives out for him and i hope others won't either. It will be the end of the club if we do. But this is Richmond and we don't do things nicely. We're bitter and twisted, and for good reason - we've had enough crap.
