Paul Armstrong
* 20 mins in the third blew the game open. Competitive again otherwise and the attitude was good. We won enough of the hard ball which is a strength of ours but the Eagles swooped on the loose ball and used it far more cleanly than us. Poor disposal was costly.
* Roach has had an operation to repair his jaw. He did it colliding with Tuck and tried to play on but the pain became too much. Out for 4-6 weeks. The dietician and nutritionist will keep him well fed given his jaw will be wired.
* Gas - grade 1 hamstring strain = 2-3 weeks. Gives someone else a chance as they say.
* Coburg - Foley, Rodan played well. Stafford played first half and got through that. Chaffey injured his calf which meant he couldn't play the second half either. Missing both in the second half helped Geelong come over the top.
* We won't do too much during the week. Did review today. Main training Wednesday. Team in good spirits and looking forward to the Gabba game. We head up Friday lunchtime to Brisbane and train.
Andrew Kruse said they'll be a talkback show taking calls coming up in the next few weeks. They're probably waiting for a win lol.
