Sugar was on SEN with Daniel Harford and Mark Graham:
* Cogs (from Sugar) and Newman (from Graham) both received praise for their leadership attributes and as potential future captains of the club. Cogs has had a great preseason btw.
* Interestingly, we may go with two leadership groups with a younger leadership group set up as well as the usual senior group to help out our younger guys.
* Simmonds, Sarge and Razor would be up there as our best trainers this preseason. Simmonds will play ruck mostly while Sarge and Razor will via for the CHB possie.
* Browny will play mainly out of a forward pocket this year. We'll wait till 2007 before he returns to the midfield. He won't start contact work until February.
* Out of new draftees, Sugar said he wouldn't be surprised if Casserley scores a few senior games. All our new draftees are quick but obviously need to add on the weight.
* Tambling is injury-free now so expect him to make an impact this year too.
* Lids is sensational so he'll most likely cop more attention this year. The other midfielders like himself, Cogs and Tucky need to help him out in that regard.
* Tiger supporters have been very supportive from the players perspective as they can see too the direction the club is now heading.
* Knobel was best of the Tiges in the swin today.
