His contested game is what needs work but then you look at Naicos and although he's clearly an elite player you wouldn't say he's a contested ball king either.

Good call. I lost count of the number of cheapies young Nick got standing at the back of the contests yesterday

Drove me nuts. Just wanted someone to run with him ffs

The more I see the more I think he's a timid little scaredy cat.

Needs to grow some balls.

Maybe he should watch how Mansell goes about it and add some of that to his game then we might have a player.

I think Sonsie will be fine. The least of our worries. He's a chance of being a really good AFL player in a few years. Prestia does not. I don't understand why we are giving key minutes to players who won't be here in 2 years time.

Wow, we will be in trouble if Sonsie is still there in 2 years. Never competes 1 on 1, only looks for cheapies on the outside.

Agree. Terrible one on one and very rarely wins those contests.

Repeatedly handballs to players in a worse position which means he lacks the confidence in his own kicking.

Just haven't seen enough good to think he will be anything special in the league.

Our standards under Yze are way way too low.

Too many back slaps and well done boys for showing up. Bloody rubbish like this is what we get.

A team of half arsed wankers who aren't prepared to work hard both ways.

It's a bloody disgrace.

Sack Yze and the coaching staff if these are the standards we they are happy with.

We look like witches hats out here.

Agree to a point, but what's the alternative? No bodies are knocking door down and missing out to Sonsie.

Fair enough. Hopefully we haven't ruined all our newbies already and when Lalor, Smilie, Hotton and whoever we pick up in the next draft can force Sonsie out of the team and Taranto up forward and we won't even need old man Porpetta wasting everyone's time.

Or our coaches can demand high standards of our players and we can see a massive improvement from hack fringe dwellers like Sonsie.
