2016 AGM Proxies
« on: November 30, 2016, 11:07:20 AM »
I have now seen a copy of the proxy form for the 2016 AGM.

If you are AGAINST the changes do NOT appoint the chair to act as your proxy at the AGM.

The first section confers your proxy on either the chair or a nominated person to "act generally at the meeting on my behalf".
(or if neither or if they do not attend, to the chair)

A second section then asks for an indication on whether you are for/against/abstain on "Amendments to the Club Constitution".

There is no formal linkage between the two.

If you require a proxy to vote AGAINST the motion please PM me as linked above.

For any interested there is now a new proxy form available for the Constitutional changes.

It is a downloadable PDF file under "club" on the club website.

It now requires your proxy's address, a statement of whether your want to direct how your proxy will vote, a list of the six resolutions and how you would vote (if you want to retain this power) and a witness signature.

It still lists Computershare as the return address, via fax or post, although I have been told by others that Stahl will accept via email.

Obviously the proxies weren't running the way they expected so now they're changing it midstream.

Couldn't organise a p!ssup in a brewery comes to mind.
