Ahhhhhhhh Jeff Hogg - felt sorry for him, not only playing in but also captaining a very average side a very average side but in IMO a very good player who gave everything, everytime

At the time I always wanted us to have 3 Jeff Hoggs. One at Full Forward, One at Full Back and one anywhere else along the spine.

Yeah I aloways remember KB having to defend playing him at fullback and lamenting that he only had one Hoggy when we needed 3 or 4 ;D

his 10 goal haul v the pies is a day i will never forget, if ui recall it was the mothers day masacre and kb's best coaching day day.

I remember that game so well (actually I have it on video :lol) because I recall Ma Powell saying to me on the way home that it was a very nice way to spend Mother's day :thumbsup

IIRC Freezer gave one P. Daicos a bit of a spanking that day

Cleve Hughes inacrnate!!!

A magnificent lead and a true technician at kicking the football!

He was a gun in a very poor side. Had his limitations as a footballer couldn't jump for example, but was very versatile, took a bullet for the club when traded. The tigers got Broderick, Dundas and Michael Gale, 2 of which were superb players for the tigers.

A lovely person to boot!

Right about that one Jackstar! and welcome back

If Cleve ends up as good as Hoggy we'll all be very happy Tiger fans.

Hoggy was great player in an average side. Always made the most of his opportunities and even though He once inadvertently knocked a hot four n' twenty out of my hands in the southern after kicking a goal he was still my favorite player at the time. He was also a very fair and honest player who stood his ground and never took a dive.
