The fwd set up has to change in fact id say the overall structure needs to change.
We had 71 entries to 42 yet we kicked just 11 goals  to 10.  Bombing it in to a fwd line full of smalls is dumb and fair dinkum it is not working.
People may disagree but playing 10 smalls most weeks is not the way fwd.the smalls output as a collective is poor most weeks. trouble is the output of others is poor as well.

Tall poo is still poo. The fact you want to keep Elton in the side purely for some height proves that no matter how tall you are, the player still has to kick some stuffing goals and contribute for the forward line to be effective. He has kicked 1 goal in 6 games and allowed Hurley to have a field day against us despite all this height.
How much better forward we have looked this year compared to last year when we tried to play Jack, Griff and Vickery + Hampson also proves my point. If we had some decent height in the VFL then maybe I'd concede you have a point...

time for George to have a rest for butler...
Elton for the person sitting in the back row with only half a arm and weights 200kilos would give us more then what he offers just a joke he gets a game and shows our lack high quality tall men...
nank will have work cut out against goldstien so we need another avenue but were it comes from who knows

I think we need to use this week and the bye to give Prestia a break. I'd bring in Miles for him.

Agree with those saying George needs a rest, but I reckon old Lloyd needs to pull his socks up, and I'd probably drop him first. Would love to see Stengle come in for either of them.

I'd drop Elton and bring in Kate Sheahan (who, when looking at her photo on the RFC website reminds me of Dougal from the Magic Roundabout). We wouldn't lose anything here.

The Tigers appear likely to recall small forward Dan Butler after two matches sidelined with groin soreness, with Hardwick declaring: "He was in good form before he went out … if he can add to the side we'll play him".

Hardwick said the match committee had a number of selection headaches, with the absence of an in-form tall forward to support Jack Riewoldt an ongoing issue.

The coach said half-forward Ben Lennon and midfielders Anthony Miles and Jacob Townsend were others in the selection frame this week.

I'm 99% sure Kate Sheahan isn't on our list so she cannot come in for Elton. To be honest I don't even think she is a rookie but happy to be proven wrong.
