Dream team comp for 2006
« on: January 10, 2006, 02:41:40 PM »
Anyone interested in going into a Nutri-grain dream team comp for 2006?
I did it last year and had a shocker. Every time I spent big biccies on a player they ended up with a long termin injury. Tim Darcy, Nathan Brown, Luke Hodge just to name a few. But I've learnt from my mistakes and I have a cunning plan to make my team more competitive this year.
I know it's early but it would be good to know if anyone else is interested. We need at least 12 teams to form a comp.

I done alright last year when i figured out how the actual game worked, lol!  :help

Where you make a killing is the kids, most of them were usually cheap as chips and someone like Eddie Betts who was on the minimum was a handy little points scorer.

I reckon Footy Rocks rocks :-)  Better than dream team comps -  you pick a team each week and compete against each other, have a league etc.

I'll let you all know when it's up and running. If we cant fill the comp it's not a problem as they just add other individual teams to make up the numbers before round 1.

Yeah, you pick up kids who are expcted to play senior footy in their first year like Deledio, Cloke, Griffen and etc. They are usually the chepeast players, and if they have particularly good debut years (like Lids) their value skyrockets and you get some handy points from them
