I think we will lose to the scum no matter who does or doesn't come into the team. I'm predicting 3 more losses.
The club that keeps giving.

Maric is in the mix according to Hardwick..... :whistle

Also Stengle is a possibility to debut.

I'd plonk Maric in the goal square, with little blokes at his feet and the odd chop out in the ruck

Wouldn't be worse than Griff and Elton as you know he'll compete. Might get lucky against some young defenders and out body them but he's not the answer against a decent side

From the VFL report:

Ivan Maric Eight disposals, 30 hitouts, three clearances, two tackles. Our warrior in the ruck. Provided a cool head, and stuck up for the boys when it got testing.

Ins Markov Maric, Garthwaite, Miles.
Outs plethora of short runts who do little  and mentally weak pricks.

Won't happen. The little guys up front are 20 year olds or younger. They have hardly any preseasons under their belts and find it hard to run out games. Their GPS data is through the roof too so they run themselves ragged and need a tall to take a few marks and give them a break.

Yep agree, was actually staggered when I saw those numbers. Ditto with the inside 50 turnover figures, knew wed improved but didn't realise how much

Hardwick listed Ben Lennon, Oleg Markov, Ivan Maric and Anthony Miles as the players in the selection mix for the game against the Blues.

Miles (32 disposals) continues to play consistent football in the VFL and will be under strong consideration, according to Hardwick.

"There'll probably be a couple of changes," Hardwick said.

"We've got some guys not playing to their highest level in the AFL at the moment, so we'll look at that more closely on Friday."

------------------------------------------------

Dustin Martin has been hampered by a lower back issue and Hardwick said the club would continue to manage the second-favourite for the Brownlow accordingly.

"I don't think many players are 100 per cent fit at the moment," Hardwick said.

"Dustin went in to the game, like a lot of other players, a little bit sore, but he played OK without playing to the usual standard we expect.

"But he'll be better this week and he's had a good week on the track thus far. He'll train today and hopefully we'll get a better result for both him and the team this week."
