Terry McMahon said Carey – whose affair with the wife of teammate and best friend Anthony Stevens rocked the sport in 2002 – was not welcome at his Wagga Wagga house.
The premiership-winning player's wife, Sally, has spent the past three weeks in Wagga with six-week-old daughter Ella Grace.
"I can assure you if he comes around here again he'll be going out in a box," he told the last night.
While Sally has tended to her child with her parents in country NSW, Carey has been in Melbourne partying regularly with friends, including neighbour Kate Neilson, a blonde model Carey describes as a friend.
Neilson, a grid girl who made the final of the Miss V8 Supercar competition in November, said she was "just friends" with the former Kangaroos and Adelaide forward.
Mr McMahon said his daughter was aware of this friendship, even before the birth of Ella Grace on January 12.
Mr McMahon said his daughter had "enough on her plate at the moment" raising her first child.
Sally was last night reluctant to comment and refused to confirm whether she and Carey were still together.
Carey, a commentator and an assistant coach with Collingwood, yesterday flew to Darwin on football commitments as Sally returned to their Port Melbourne apartment with mother Trish.
In recent weeks, he has repeatedly visited Neilson's home.
Neilson has also been seen entering and leaving Carey's apartment complex.
