In our premiership shadow, heads start rolling at other clubs
« on: October 05, 2017, 06:51:59 PM »
One very satisfying advantage of winning a premiersip (which dawned on me today like the first sunrise in 37 years on a strangely slow spinning icy alien planet)  is being able to sit back, from the highest perch on our vegetated earth and relax.....whilst clubs other than our own commit (often naively) frustrated/ poorly motivated based decisions about their clubs off field and  (possibly in the future *more specifically) football department.

Now...im not saying these clubs are bad clubs, i mean, in any event, i am all for bad clubs as you need spread of $Hyt to compare them to us. but consider:-

CEO of Carlton Stevie Trigg gone this arvo

Hawks CEO Tracey Gaudry gone yesterday....

Lollingwood CEO Pert gone not to long ago....still yet to be filled

+ Cats

+ Bulldogs

So thats 5 of the other 10 Victorian clubs....so far.

nice to hear the 3 flogs in pendlebury, howe and tadams declare in the last 12 hours that if tigers can do it "we can do". Tigers worst kicking side in the comp bla bla bla

go stuff yourselves boys, talk about your own pathetic club and enjoy the next 2 years without balmey and with that robocop coach of yours leading the way.

In all seriousness though; this result (and last years) is so good for footy. If 18 teams believe they can win it going into next season it makes for a great competition. Once again the AFL poos on just about any other major professional sport. Go Tiges!

Every team should win the flag once every 18 years...
