Harry McKay or Himmelberg?
« on: July 08, 2018, 10:34:59 PM »
If the Tom Lynch thing doesn’t play out, how about making a play for either of both? McKay at 200cm and 100 kegs is a beast and just might thrive in a more supportive and competitive environment. Himmelberg looks a beauty and would be a perfect replacement down the track for Jack
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

I thought Himmelberg was very dangerous against us in the preliminary final.
The club that keeps giving.

Hindenberg

The longer McKay doesn't play, the closer he gets to being the next Wayne Carey. Too much pressure on the poor kid. I don't think he'll be all that great though.
And you may not think I care for you
When you know down inside that I really do

Himmelberg the far safer option at this stage but McKay could be anything... :shh

Based on Andrew McKay’s comments, it’s a matter of Harry’s commitment to properly preparing himself to be an elite AFL player that is holding him back. Right now, I’d back our program over Carlton’s to get the best out of him
