Graham's tackle numbers and tagging ability is going to be missed. Presumably Lambert moves partly into Graham's role and Brandon will have to move into the midfield rotation with Houli and Floss back in defence.

Very happy with Bolton's selection. He's been outstanding of late and seems much more suited to midfield/wing roles rather than being shoehorned in a forward pocket.... :shh
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

Not in the matches I've been watching. Ok, he's missed a couple of targets but so has every player on our list. His disposal playing up field has been pretty good.

I hope he has learnt that footy is more than just a highlights package, especially in our side.
He has got some freakish talent but so have many before him. He needs to join the rest of the side and work hard first and foremost. The other stuff will come if he does that.

In saying all of that, I’m looking forward to seeing how he goes.

Looking more forward to seeing Vlastuin back. He has had some year!

I think Bolton has the talent to turn a game. We may need that come Sat bite
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Shai needs to learn from our stars that the best players still consistently do the break and butter things and do them better than anyone else.

From Barrett's 'sliding doors' column:

If ... you see Vlastuin, Houli and Bolton as the ins ...

then  ... it at least squares the outs of Broad, Butler and Graham.
