Tex was lucky Tuohy came back on otherwise he would cop 4 weeks. In the end, he'll get a week at most just for Tuohy having to go off for 20 mins and undergo a concussion test.

ps. Worst on ground for the Crows tonight by the way. He'll only escape criticism because Adelaide still won.

Contact was graded as careless. Not sure how that could be when he didn’t even look at the ball but only had eyes on the player.

Poor ol' Tex has had a good past 12 months  . Likely to get an early September holiday after dumping Kelly's head into the turf last night.

What I didn't get was the umpire initially paid dropping the ball. When he saw Kelly wasn't getting up he changed his decision to sling/dangerous tackle?

It looked like the ump 50m away left of screen paid the dangerous sling tackle free and overruled the ump that initially paid HTB.

That would make sense. I just remember watching and thinking the tackle was dangerous and couldn't believe it when the umpire who was in the foreground of the screen paid dropping the ball. Then after 5-10 seconds and Kelly hadn't moved he blew his whistle again and made the dangerous tackle motion. Too bad Short didn't receive the same treatment.
