Mike Sheahan's top 50
« on: March 22, 2006, 11:58:01 AM »
Sheahan will have another top 50 list out on Saturday. Which Tigers do you guys think will be in it?

For mine, Browny pre-injury would be top 10 if not top 5 but Mike might leave him out altogether because of his leg. Richo is usually chucked in 45-50 by Mike.

I agree he should be too but I reckon Mike will fill his list with Cats, Saints, Crows, Swans and Eagles midfielders. Sheahan will give us token mention like he normally does with Browny and Richo our only A-graders.

Richo gets the usual token tiger nomination around the 40-50 mark from Mike ::).

Sheesh Mike loves Barry Hall. He's belongs in the top 25 but not No. 1. How many people would choose Hall over Judd  :rollin.

If we're excluding players who missed half the season last year then how does Jonathan Brown, Buckley and McPhee still get included ???.

Hodge and Kane Cornes are too low.

And where are the young guns like Cooney Mike if it is a prediction instead of just reeling out the usual names that are over the hill?

Well, that's just an insult to Tuck.  He had a fantastic year last year.
More than an insult, he has absolutely no idea  :wallywink

I thought Scarlett had one of the worst years last year - yet he's number 10.  Go figure this twit.

That list is a farce! I think Adam Goodes at 14 is a way overpriced. 2 years ago maybe. The same with Simon Black. He had a crap 2005. Wirrapunda was hard done by coming in at 45 as was Scott West at 26.

I think Sheehan is basing all of this on 2 year old opinions proving the point that this guy is a footy nuf nuf who doesn't deserve airtime.  :banghead
Time to get back to future Mike!  ???

I think his top 7 is about right, mixing the order around a bit for mine.  There are some shockers in there though.  If C Bolton made it, why the hell didnt J Bowden?
