« on: March 29, 2006, 04:33:09 PM »
A thread on BF's main board asked for your club's players who went elsewhere. We have a whole team and more  :-\ (yep too much time on my hands today ;) ). Fairly decent midfield and forward line.

B:    Jason Torney (Adel)   Michael Pickering (Melb)          Chris Bond (Freo)
HB:  Trevor Poole  (Geel)   Ben Holland  (Melb)                 Phil Egan (Melb)
C:    Bryan Wood   (Ess)    Geoff Raines (Coll, Ess,Bris)    Stewart Maxfield (Syd)
HF:   David Cloke  (Coll)    Jeff Hogg (Fitz)                        Peter Wilson (WCE)
FF:   Nick Daffy (Syd)        Brian Taylor  (Coll)                   Graham Teasdale (Sth)
R:     Brian Roberts (Sth)   Billy Barrot (St K,Carl)             Robert Wiley (WCE)

Int:  Brad Ottens (Geel),  Justin Murphy (Carl,Ess,Geel), Mark Merenda (WCE), Chris Naish (Port)

Emg: Aaron Fiora (St K), James Thiessen (Adel), Jamie Tape (Coll), Steven McKee (Coll), Brad Smith (Coll), Matthew Francis (Coll), Jamie Elliot (St K), Robert Powell (St K), Tim Powell (Carl), Francis Jackson (Sth)

Thoughts and any obvious ones I've forgotten?

Tim Notting was a supplementary player before Brisbane snapped him up.
Barry Young (Ess), Justin Pickering (Foots), Ross Funcke (Melb), Philip Walsh (Bris), Justin Plapp (StK). Going back a bit - Robbie McGhie (Foots), Wayne Walsh (Sth), Greg Miller (Sth). Obvious one - Craig Lambert (Bris).
It's 50 of one and half a dozen of the other - Don Scott

Yep he does not that we miss him lol.

Allegedly John Coleman was virtually Richmond's until someone blabbed about how good he was within earshot of an Essendon recruiter.

That's right he and his brother were down to play at richmond in the first practice match of the season. He pulled out but his brother met his commitment and played in the game on a half back flank. The next week the news broke that J.C. had signed with essendon. i think his brother went back to peninsular League.

Most obvious one you've forgotton is Craig Lambert.  Very upset when he left.
Does anyone have half an idea on anything?
