Experience not on the park
« on: May 05, 2019, 08:49:46 AM »
How many games experienced do we have in the injury closet at the moment?

Rance 200
Jack 250
Cotch 220
Grigg 200
Astbury 100
Any others?

No wonder we are crap.
You could see it in newbies like Balta Last night v the dogs.

That forward of 25 games didn't seem to have an issue against our experienced defence

The new ones were not the issue mate. Let's start with dusty, lynch nankervis Bellis, Castagna etc

I see your point though, but it doesn't excuse the lack of pressure shown. How many times did C Daniel stream out of the defence and pin point a pass?

And our teenagers and younger players had been performing thus far. You're gonna get inconsistency. We're basically relying on Ross to carry the load in the midfield. Stack had a great game again.

I wouldn't be surprised if we went from one of the most experienced 22 last year to last night probably bottom 3rd in experience.its just playing havoc with the game plan. No one seems to know who is going up and who staying down  in defence. Players are not blocking enough all over the ground and our system just leaks pressure when its built to apply pressure. Bring back Towner, at least he has games under the belt.

Yeah but young guys like dunkley have played 50 games. English still makes decision errors particularly with long kicks. I doubt the dogs injuries whatever they are, are to key players. I saw them lost to collingwood a few weeks back and they were pretty good in a horrible game to watch. Without knowing their list in bet its slightly below middling in experience on the park.

Exactly. It's not the kids I had an issue with last night

Senior players were ordinary
