Whos this seasons best AFL coach?Cam Mooney,
Geelong Advertiser
18 July 2019WITH finals on the horizon it's a good chance to put the microscope on the coaching fraternity. Who has been a standout and performed above expectations? Who has struggled? This is how my AFL ladder would look if we it were based on coaching performance in 2019.
1st Chris Fagan (Brisbane)
2nd Chris Scott (Geelong)
3rd Damien Hardwick (Richmond)
Dimma was always going to struggle to get Richmond up and going early. The Tigers lost Alex Rance, their best player, at the start of the year, and have been hit with other injuries. Richmond is back up and going now. Watch out.
4th Rhyce Shaw (North Melbourne)
5th David Teague (Carlton)
6th Adam Simpson (West Coast)
7th Nathan Buckley (Collingwood)
8th John Longmire (Sydney)
9th Luke Beveridge (Western Bulldogs)
10th Leon Cameron (GWS Giants)
11th Don Pyke (Adelaide)
12th John Worsfold (Essendon)
13th Ken Hinkley (Port Adelaide)
14th Ross Lyon (Fremantle)
15th Alastair Clarkson (Hawthorn)
16th Alan Richardson (St Kilda)
17th Stuart Dew (Gold Coast)
18th Simon Goodwin (Melbourne)
