A. Clappers were designed by the former Herald Sun cartoonist David “Macca” McArthur.
Q. I purchased my newspaper from an outlet that is not participating in the promotion. Do I need to buy another newspaper from a participating newsagent?
A. You can buy your paper anywhere and then take the original hardcopy (not digital) token from the newspaper to a participating newsagent to redeem the Grand Finals Clapper.
Q. My newsagent does not have any of the Herald Sun Grand Final Clappers left. What can I do?
A. You can try locating the clappers at another participating newsagent.
Q. Can I get more than one Herald Sun Grand Final Clapper?
A. Yes, however you will need to purchase the corresponding number of papers, e.g. if you want two clappers you will need to buy two papers.
Q. I brought the newspaper this morning and when I got home, I realised the token was ripped out of the newspaper. What do I do?
A. Please return the hardcopy newspaper to the participating newsagent you bought it at, explain the situation and ask for a replacement copy with the token intact. If they fail to provide you with a complete copy of the newspaper, please contact the News Limited Helpline on 1300 696 397.
