RICHMOND
No Tiger fan could miss Riley Collier-Dawkins’ pair of slashing goals on the run in the VFL Grand Final. He is still to debut, but the big one is Ivan Soldo. Could be Richmond’s No.1 ruckman by Round 6 if he keeps developing.

If he has the 80+ shots at goal that will require then it will be a hell of a year...

It's going to depend on any injuries to our senior regulars down our spine but I'm hoping for CCJ and Balta to keep on improving and next year showing more of what they can do at AFL level.

The breakout player from your AFL club in 2020

First off, we’re not being facetious. In just one AFL match Marlion Pickett stunned the footy world. It just so happened to be on the biggest September stage of them all. With a proper pre-season under his belt there’s no reason the mid-season recruit couldn’t recreate some of his Grand Final magic. More blind turns, please, Marlion!

My money is on Balta. The guy just needs a bit more bulk to run through players and bowl them over with his speed

Emerging stars, A-grade contenders: Who's ready for a breakout season?

Marlion Pickett: The mature-age recruit produced an unforgettable debut on Grand Final day, when he almost claimed the Norm Smith Medal. Clearly belongs at the top level and will get plenty more opportunities to shine on the big stage.
