SEN Mornings host Tim Gossage has made a big call, labelling the West Coast Eagles as “certainties” to win the 2020 flag.

The West Australian journalist believes with the inclusion of Tim Kelly, they will coast to a top four spot and will go on to win the premiership.

“We haven’t even got to Christmas, but I think West Coast are an absolute living certainty (to win the premiership),” Gossage told SEN Mornings.

“They will not lose a game in Perth guaranteed. Lock that in. They won’t lose a Derby. That’s 13 wins.

“They will finish top four and I know they’ve got their wobbly skates on and they fell apart in 2019, but they didn’t have Tim Kelly and the Willie Rioli thing didn’t help.

“With some clear air they are certainties.”

They will probably lose games there - like how they lost to hawthorn. If they have to play us at the MCG it will be tough for them (and us).

Gossage reminds of galah alot of talking and no sense. I reckon people underestimate the Rioli loss will be huge and Nantanui is no certainty to play 22 games.Kennedy looks like his loss his touch.Eagles backline looked vulnerable this year.

Premiers – West Coast

The Eagles will win the 2020 premiership.

They look set to make the biggest improvement out of all contenders out of 2019. Tim Kelly is a priceless addition who will make their midfield unstoppable, while Richmond lose Alex Rance and with no obvious replacement. Yes, the Tigs won it without him last year but not against this West Coast outfit.
