@richmond_fc fans we have put together a little pack to raise funds for the bushfires. Horrible to think what people are going through right now and every little bit counts. Comment your bid below on my page, will put an update on socials with a closing time in the near future. Thanks for your support. We will contact the eventual successful bidder with instructions. A go fund me page will also be in bio to donate.

It's a bit hard to tell from the comments on Trent's instagram post but I believe the top Genuine bid is around the $7000 mark so far.  There is also a gofundme page set up by the Richmond playing group for donations which is up to $13000 of a $15000 goal at present.  The beauty of a gofundme page is that anyone can still donate even if they are not able to participate in the auction, and donations are able to be taken well after the goal is reached.   I have no doubt the clubs and the afl will already be in the process of arranging other means to help raise money however this is an initiative from the players to encourage Richmond fans to help out if they are in a position to do so.

Hey Richmond FC fans,
Us players are trying to help raise $15,000 to help the people who have been devastated by the terrible bushfires still raging through all parts of our country and the volunteers and firefighters who are putting their lives on the line to help control them.
It really is a time to be grateful for what we ‘DO’  have in life.

Any donation would be greatly appreciated,Thankyou.

Much love,The Richmond Football Club Playing Group❤️

These fires have hit hard due to impact on my family. So far everyone is safe and no homes lost. A couple of back paddocks burned in Corryong (near) but as my Mum's 94 y.o. cousin told me "grass can regrow, lost lives cannot".

If you can afford to give anything to which ever fund you like, please do.

These communities need us now more than ever

Yesterday I had the privilege to visit those affected in the fires in Lakes Enterance, Nowa Nowa and Buchan. Extremely sad to see but putting smiles on many faces was one to remember forever. We also delivered 5 containers of food and the likes and also put on a a huge BBQ. Thanks to all who donated and helped directly. @australianislamiccentre @humanappealaus
