* Shorter quarters/games will aid explosive players like Dusty ........ but not himself (laughs).

* The premiership this year would mean as much as previous years. Things will have to go right with all the challenges and the best team will win it just like every year.

* Players won't be coming back matchfit tomorrow for start of (8-per-group) training.

* Agrees with Gawn that just 3 weeks of training as a lead in to the restart of the season will increase the risk of injury (but was still keen to get back to playing).

* The strict covid-19 protocols set by the AFL will be tough on families but we all want to get the season back up and running.
