The Playmakers' Playbook

The leadership and vision that helped create a new golden era for the tigers.

Thoughts on being the next AFL CEO.

As Richmond CEO Brendon Gale was a key member of the brains trust that helped deliver the Tigers' first AFL premiership in 37 years in 2017 and another two years later. His leadership and vision were crucial in putting the brakes on the coaching merry-go-round at Punt Road. It gave coach Damien Hardwick the structure and the breathing space to deliver on the dream. And now Gale, regarded as one of the best brains in the business, is being touted as the next boss of the AFL.

What I really liked about this interview was Brendon
Enthuiasm and commitment to chasing down Essendon and Carlton on the premiership lists. We only have 12 at the moment. Hopefully another 4 or 5 over the next decade to come.
