Reckon if there are any changes it'll be to make way for Caddy.if he's fit - probably Graham, or possibly Stack, with Edwards moving to half-back.  :shh

Can’t see how stack keeps his spot after that game. They really need to move him back into defence where he was so great last year. I’d move baker into fwd line and as part of the midfield rotation.

Think they’ll be 2 changes at most. Caddy if fit will come in.

The versatile Josh Caddy trained on Tuesday and is pushing for a recall, having dealt with a minor calf complaint, while Jack Ross and Kamdyn McIntosh are also seeking a call-up.

Foxsports is predicting Caddy to replace Graham.

PREDICTED TIGERS 22:

B: Nathan Broad, Dylan Grimes, David Astbury

HB: Jayden Short, Nick Vlaustin, Bachar Houli

C: Dan Rioli, Dion Prestia, Josh Caddy

HF: Shai Bolton, Shane Edwards, Jason Castagna

F: Tom Lynch, Dustin Martin, Jack Riewoldt

FOLL: Ivan Soldo, Trent Cotchin, Kane Lambert

I/C: Marlion Pickett, Jack Higgins, Liam Baker, Sydney Stack

Team tips:
Tom Lynch is under an injury cloud, but the forward laughed off reports he could miss Thursday’s clash. Josh Caddy is set to push for selection after missing Round 2 with a minor calf injury. The Tigers don’t have many pressing selection decisions, with Damien Hardwick likely to give Ivan Soldo an extended run in the ruck. Sydney Stack (four disposals) and Jack Graham appear the men likely on the chopping block if Caddy is fit, with the latter potentially the man to make way.

A taz posted last night in the Stack thread, Baker is out.

Premiership defender to miss Tigers' date with Hawks

RICHMOND premiership defender Liam Baker will miss Thursday night's clash with Hawthorn as the Tigers strongly consider bringing back Josh Caddy from a calf injury.

Baker has returned home to Western Australia to deal with a personal family matter which will force at least one change from the side that drew with Collingwood last week.

Coach Damien Hardwick said any border quarantine issues with Baker being able to immediately return to Victoria had "all been taken care of."

He also threw up Jack Ross and Oleg Markov as potential inclusions, while Caddy is firming for a recall.

"He'll certainly put his hand up to play, there's a strong probability he'll come into the side," Hardwick said.

"He was stiff last week with that calf soreness and we thought we wouldn't take a risk."

Ross is a contender for the vacant half-back role having been trialled there at training, while Derek Eggmolesse-Smith will also throw his name into the selection mix.

Hardwick confirmed spearhead Tom Lynch would play after heading for scans earlier in the week on a sore ankle.

In the Mix - Round 3

Richmond

Josh Caddy will look to prove his fitness after missing last week's draw with a minor calf complaint. The two-time premiership star trained on Tuesday and looks set to get the all-clear to face the Hawks. Sydney Stack is under the most pressure to keep his spot after having just four disposals against the Pies. Versatile tall Noah Balta was the standout in the scratch match and could come into calculations to provide a chop out in the ruck, although Ivan Soldo held his own against premier big man Brodie Grundy last week. Jack Ross will be very close, while Thomson Dow and Kamdyn McIntosh are next in the pecking order.

Verdict: Caddy in for Stack, with Ross desperately unlucky.

Given the need to peak at the end of the year I'd happily rotate out big name players for the first 8 rounds. Play a few kids.

In that case Jack should of had a rest this week as he was below poor against the pies.

I’d would of liked to see Balta play.

Jack is a champ and I’d be expecting more from him this week.
The club that keeps giving.
