I watched Soldo in the twos down at Frankston one day and thought he was the worst player I had seen at VFL level. Admittedly he was probably in his 10 game of footy ever, but he couldn’t even kick properly.
He is no star now but boy he has come along way.

Ellis as most know,  I have always thought was scared and would get found out eventually- he has played a heap of AFL footy so I guess I have got him wrong- BUT with the club basically telling him to FO, I think I am half right (or more)

And lastly probably Astbury. I just thought he was slow and robotic and injury prone, and would just slowly be pushed out.
Now he is a 3 timer and does a pretty great job most of the time.

Houli is another one I don’t rate as a defender, but purely on stats and achievements, I have got that wrong.
I still think he is/was overrated but also happy for him too,  being a 3 time premiership player.
