RICHMOND

What does a world where Richmond doesn’t make the top four look like – what has to actually happen? A bunch of injuries? They had that last year. Off-field distractions? They had that last year. Getting every team’s best effort because everyone knows they’re the benchmark you need to pass if you want to contend for the flag? They dominated the season after their 2017 flag, and went back-to-back this time. It’s not like they’re even that old of a list; and remember, they won it all last year while only playing four games at the MCG, where they seem to have superpowers. At this point, we need to see them not be contenders to believe it can happen.
