* [Groans] Thank god it's Easter tomorrow. Something to look forward to.

* Credit where credit's due, I thought they [Sydney] were simply outstanding. To be honest, the score flattered us I reckon. I felt like it was a 10-goal loss. I thought they killed us in every facet of the game – offensively, defensively, contest. They were just simply brilliant. We're disappointed in our performance, but sometimes you meet a side that's going so well and they teach a few lessons which they did today. Credit to John (Longmire) and his side, they're playing a wonderful brand of footy.

* They beat us around the contest. Fundamentally, in and around the ball, we weren't to our usual level. They were clean whereas we fumbled. Their pressure was high so that probably compounded that. There were a number of things we didn't do as well as we would've liked. But that's probably taking a bit away from Sydney who did things very well on the day.

* The talent they've added and the ability to get from contest to contest has really improved. It takes time to nuture that. In fairness, last year's game was very wet; this year was obviously very different. I just thought they played a really good brand of footy: attacking, they were hard to defend, they moved the ball incredibly well and some of their stuff looked Richmond-like, if that makes sense. Their forward-half turnover game was very strong, they made us make some mistakes we don't normally make and that's what good sides do, they punish you. They're in a really good spot at the moment.

* We talked about the result at the end of the game. Reckon we have one of these a year. We look at everything as a gift and teaches us lessons. We'll go to work and get a better result. Maybe not next week or the week after but it will come. The game is evolving and we know it. We just got to tinker with a few things in our gameplan to make sure we challenge ourselves to get better again..

* We do feel like we've got the depth at the lower level. There's a couple of players that immediately spring to mind: Jack Ross obviously who we rated highly. There's another kid called Will Martyn who is a transition mid that  we really like. So we'll sit down during the week to access which one of those boys will come in. We think we've got the cattle. They're young and inexperienced but they are exciting for us.

* Houli - Got through the ressies game. Glad we gave him the extra week. He'll certainly put his hand up for next week.
